Yoon Jisu in Webtoon v. Drama

Ok, this is me thinking out loud - I know that Jisu is a main character in the webtoon and the whole reason there is a Sweet Home title to begin with. So I just want to try to understand why...

Why did they take that direction with her character??

Is it because of the actress or what? I'm just trying to wrap my head around this. I didn't read the webtoon, but I feel like if I did, I'd probably be upset.

i read the webtoon as far as it goes but the series changes it in season 2. Hyun Cha should be the main character. the series put Jisu in the main role in the second season because they didn't know what to do with Cha guy or they wanted more female perspective. anyway i couldn't wrap my head around most of the things from season 2
