Thai Watch Challenge FAQ, Questions & Discussion

Where are you guys watching new dramas ? I've only watched 2 new Thai dramas this year on Thippy's site. i'm mostly  rewatching my favorites, the ones i can find.

I'm considering a subscription to Channel 3's premium service. I found the wee globe to make their website interface read in English but I haven't found anything clear for English subtitles. Under More Info on the Packages page (where you subscribe) it says Subtitles, but that could be Thai.  (Update - it says Subtitles and then English, except English is in Thai)

The price is affordable enough (£22/US$28 per year) I'm probably going to even if I end up watching elsewhere for the subs.

Does anyone have info? Any other Thai subscriptions worth getting for someone who's limited to English?

It's not from a drama. I went for a general picture search by using the actors names when I was looking for photos to use. 

Just went on a research for this particular photo. ^.^

It's from a photoshoot together with Off for a Thai magazine called กุลสตรี which translates to 'Kullastree'.

To everyone: 

I plan to bring back the Thai Watch Challenge for 2025 but I might not be able to post it on January 1st as I'm currently down with a flu (recovering but still not 100% healthy and fit yet). If you have ideas for (new) prompts or the challenge in general or want to contribute something to the Thai Watch Challenge 2025 (for example Badges, Banners, Completion badge etc) send me a DM or comment here. 

I would love to include a Hall of Fame or some sort of Completion badge in the new challenge but don't have the time nor expertise (I'm an Asian Drama watcher of multiple countries and don't watch enough Thai dramas) to check users entries and if they qualify. If anyone wants to help out with this it would be much appreciated.

This was my bonus section and I used the four regions + Bangkok and got picky about ones where the location was integral. So Northern, Northeastern, Central, Bangkok, Southern. If others want to do this too, I'm happy to make suggestions or help compile lists.

Even though searching for some of the more random or inconsequential things brought some good titles to my attention, I mostly preferred the thematic challenges. How Thai cinema changed pre-2000 to the present was more interesting to me than this or that year. But then I'm new to this and still have a lot to learn :)

This sounds interesting. I'd love to include it. We can create Custom Lists on the Thai Drama Club profile for those or link to lists if you compile them, whatever you prefer. Thanks for the suggestion. ^.^

:) I made a list as that was the least confusing way to organise and share the information I have with you. It might be easier for members to find if one is made in the Thai Club lists (I really appreciated those this year) but that will mean more work for you and I'm happy to maintain one for the Club, so as you wish.
