I've read highlight of the novel, and yes Wu Huan is the evil, worst than the Goddess of Snow. In the novel, later, his husband Mu Guang said you are not Wu Huan that I fell in love with, something like that.

You're absolutely right. She will become the biggest villain. 

About Bai Jue return:

Goog God! I wont be able to watch that, Bai Jue marrying to Jing Zhao a soon as he awakes, I almost stop reading the novel, I know he has a reason but I'm so mad!

Yeah it gets cancelled but she still lives with him for one century, abandon his child with Shangu and according to the trailer they will go with this plot in the drama.
