Feel the Power of Office Ladies: Shomuni Retrospective Shomuni 2013 sees a total change in the members of Shomuni, with the exception of Esumi Makiko, who will reprise her role of the feisty Tsuboi Chinatsu. It has been 10 years since Shomuni was dissolved in Manpan Corporation, and the department members have all gone on into retirement. Tsuboi Chinatsu's whereabouts are known to nobody. Due to the long economic downturn suffered by Japanese companies, restructuring is a common occurrence nowadays. Manpan is no different from the rest. Maruyama Shiori is an Olympic gold-medal hopeful in the pole vault event. Manpan had recruited as part of their PR advertising, but due to severe cost-cutting measures, the track and field club in Manpan was dissolved, and Shiori was deemed to have no value to the company anymore. In order to make Shiori, who doesn't even have the skills to be a telephone operator, leave on her own accord, the company started tweeting bad things about her. ..this film is just my one of my list that I don't want to end. . .but it's a must...
..it seems like their acting is just natural and I am so impressed..

..I do browse some of this series, and I found out there's is nothing new in the casting, I mean the characteristics of each casts from the original members up to the latest series are the name - or should I say, a reincarnation. . .first time to watch Tsubasa Honda and Becky..

..I also give credit to Yasuda Ken, Miura Shohei, Masu Takeshi, and even Nana Katase..

..I highly recommended this since this film is so funny, no minutes wasted. . .like Haken no Hinkaku, I am not a fan of office / company genre, but it gives me a lesson on how to appreciate my work, my people, my surroundings..

..the treatment of the Shomuni is more worse than the "haken" in the film "Haken no Hinkaku"..

..I do love the role of Tsuboi Chinatsu, like an alpha-female, and even the other members too with different skills..
