Okay, so here are the most popular and loved Xianxias. Xianxias are basically fantasy Cdramas with a Chinese mythology origin. (meaning: Three Realms and cultivation) Some of them have very deep stories, while others are more of a light-hearted watch. I'll provide each drama with a short explanation, and the list will start with the drama with the least number of episodes to the most.

You NEED to watch this if you're looking for a Xianxia that leaves the realms of your usual tropes. ML Dong Fang Qing Cang is a badass lord who wants to destroy the Immortal Realm. FL is an orchid who leads him to understand love. The OST here is bomb.

This popular bromance drama adapted from a BL novel is about two people with completely different personalities developing a strong bond and working together to solve mysteries and restore peace to the world. The acting is phenomenal, from all of the actors.

4. The Journey of Flower

The Journey of Flower is about the love story between a naive girl and her cold mentor. Bai Zihua was forbidden to fall in love, but he still did, resulting in heartbreak and catastrophe. I found the female lead a little annoying and some parts unnecessary, but the acting is great and the story is very moving.

5. Eternal Love of Dream

This is the official sequel to Eternal Love (TMOPB). Feng Jiu and Dong Hua have a different love story from the sequel, but this drama follows the novel. Although some people were frustrated by either the "whiny" female lead or the "draggy" storyline, I absolutely loved every second of it. All of the actors NAILED IT.

6. Eternal Love

Eternal Love is certainly a delight, and can be considered a classic in the Xianxia genre. It tells the love story of the grandson of the Heavenly Emperor and the daughter of the Nine-Tailed Fox King through three lifetimes. I don't like this as much as ELOD, but this drama is still amazing. The OST is one to die for as well.

This drama does not disappoint. It is a love story spanning 10 lifetimes, and we watch as both leads make countless sacrifices for each other. With a love so pure and such amazing characters, this is a must-watch Xianxia.

Set in the same world as Eternal Love and ELOD, Love and Destiny is about the love story of the God of War and a young girl who is said will bring chaos to the world. Character relationships are cute, and the arcs in the drama are interesting with a bit of love and pain intertwined.

9. Ashes of Love

AoL is one of my favorite dramas. The Fire Deity (ML) falls in love of the daughter of the Flower Deity (FL), but she doesn't understand love. After she does, though, she realizes that she had made a grave mistake. Everything in this drama is delightful, especially the costumes and gorgeous CGI.
