another good death game show, but as someone who's already had her fill of the genre with squid game, it's not a must watch for me. chishiya is lowkey annoying idk his face pissed me off

okay, i gotta say this was a lot more fun than season 1! gets more crazy and insane than before and the ending sticks the landing and leaves an impression (reborn rich wishes it was this show). i'm a chishiya stan now chishiya for the win

i'm barely a few episodes in and still have to get back to it, but i'll take baeksang at their word when it says it's a spotless thriller. maybe i'll finish this one day

guessing game, the k-drama. honestly trying to figure out who big mouse is had me loose braincells every week but i'd be lying if it wasn't what kept you watching. has a cool prison setting and LJS looking fine as hell and will very much entertain one way or another, but my heart breaks for the ladies in this show because they deserved BETTER

as moving slowly moves along with s2, we're starting to see the effects of its success with a bunch of superhero-themed dramas now popping up. junho charms his way through some fun action setpieces but i found the overall narrative & character work to be pretty dull here.

a fun peek into seoul's crazy, scandalous influencer culture with a dash of murder mystery. quite engaging and worth the watch for park gyu young alone. but imo the male lead couldn't match her aura

putting this in here because of the disaster aspect! this was my first medical drama and i don't regret it. in the midst of my "i can never watch another show ever again after vincenzo" phase, it got me hooked and i binged it in a few days. this show was basically that one RDTK3 arc with the collapsed building but for 20 episodes

a bit of a bummer. generally a fun watch, keeps you interested and will have at least one actor you fancy. but the message completely missed the mark and is incredibly dangerous. maybe let's not perpetuate harmful christian dogmas and victim blaming concerning suicide

one of the best detective dramas i've seen so far!! crime comedies with great ensemble casts and top tier chemistry between its leads are somewhat akin to crack to me, so this was a feast. highly highly recommend if you have lots of fun with this genre and want a well-rounded, perfectly executed show!

just a pretty solid crime thriller. as so often and as per my not so humble opinion any crime drama is inherently more awesome and cool if there's a sexy little romance thrown in but i fear the writer and me weren't on the same wavelength. i mean! scruffy neighborhood gangster childhood friend who's willing to kill and hide bodies for you in your joint pursuit to secure illegal riches... we could've had it all!

amazing thriller drama about quarantine situations we're all too familiar with (minus the murder). nice spin on the zombie genre but not for those who expect the usual k-zombie type of excitement, as it's much calmer and more focused on human relationships. saebom and yihyun are ride or die!!

i just love watching the story and all the intricacies of its mystery unfold, the romance is really only the cherry on top. and boy is it good. some people watching this now may say it's cheesy or dated or somewhat lacking, i say this is a masterpiece and a timeless classic! alexa play Eternal Love

a demon hunter, a priest and a chaebol get into a car... kinda fun actually! not super into the lore, but i love the characters here, who despite the serious story can get so goofy and silly sometimes (looking at johan)

i didn't hate it overall because i grew oddly invested in the cast, but yeah it fell off. i cannot believe they really [redacted] !!! the writer is a coward !! hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have

this drama walked so vincenzo could run!! it might not be as iconic but honestly has everything i could ask for; sexy lawyers, gangsters, quirky humor, revenge, action, all the good stuff. i do remember the story getting a bit thin towards the end but it was overall so damn enjoyable still

what a lifechanging fictional experience. go watch this and stick with it even if it's not what it seems at first glance - it's all the better exactly because of that. a masterpiece & an indesputable feat of emotional writing. kang full is a storyteller for the ages.

love how unconventional this was - a melo romance & a whodunit-mystery all the same. the leads will have one hell of a "how i met your dad/mom" story to tell their kids one day. there are definitely some lows but the highs are HIGH and i was invested all the way til the end. if i had a nickel for every drama in which yeo jin goo ends up in a small town full of sus people i'd have two nickels which isn't a lot but it's funny that it happened twice

i don't know what else to say about this that i haven't already said in my faves list but - please watch this. if there's one 'superhero' show or one ott drama or one thriller/action drama to pick from all existing ones... pick this one. this show has 145326 baeksangs in my heart

nothing to write home about, but a really neat little crime mystery + romance drama if you need something quick and simple to get you out of a slump. also a hidden gem if you like lee jun hyuk, this guy just has rizz no matter how terrible his haircut

this drama makes me sad because the pivot it made midway into its run was really something.. disappointing. starts off so full of wit and levity and then without warning adheres to typical tropes which! is fine on paper!!! but it wasn't what this show was being advertised as in the beginning. like island, the characters ended up carrying the show for me

nothing super memorable to me personally, but i am familiar with the japanese original so i was v curious as to how they'd execute this in a binge format. actually quite good, has some great characters and hits the emotional notes! its a 7.5 but a slightly different 7.5 than my other 7.5s idk if that makes sense

more mellow & heartwarming than your usual procedural, which might've been the reason i couldn't sink my teeth into the plot like i usually can with these types of shows since i very much watch them for their energetic vibe, but the leads made tuning in every week well worth it. how could i say no to lawyers in love?

i am halfway through only but oh my god this is fantastic, the premise alone is genius. what if one day you wake up after a suicide attempt with no memories of yourself but a diary which indicates you're a meticulous serial killer? and youre just some guy but now you gotta live up to that? chefs kiss

does this fit in here? business political reincarnation? let's say it does. MAN. idk where to start w this show bc on one hand, joongki slaying as always, but also the elephant in the room aka the conclusion - not a very smart (actually very very stupid) decision to go off-path with the ending and not stick to the novel.. rating it very low sadly because albeit the fantasic performances, it wasn't my vibe and genre and the ending just sealed the deal for me

for the most part, a worthwhile thriller with social commentary. i didn't connect with it much, but it was a decent show. in retrospect, the spectacle of it all had people forget what this was really about - capitalism that pits the lower classes against each other. i don't think it really needed that 2nd season ← lol

with the novelty already having worn off, and characters that are less memorable, there wasn't much distracting me from the fact that it's all just buildup for s3. not terrible, but mostly a downgrade. at least we had gong yoo going bonkers insane?

it's pretty sad how much the show fell off. if you loved s1, do yourself a favor and don't watch the 2nd and 3rd part, there's not much to miss. but the mishaps are many: from character assassination, unresolved arcs, useless plotlines, nonsensical writing and an ending so bad it could've been a parody -  this one's got it all.

atmospheric psychological thriller about the horrors of the human mind and in extension, the horrors of existing among others. great negative character development + im siwan at the best of his game! this drama also nails the unsettling, deeply uncomfortable feel akin to stories such as junji ito's

sbs has a knack for making zany, gripping cider dramas, and they do it so well it always has me coming back. an intense take on vigilante justice in a world where the law fails people again and again, executed by a fantastic team of misfit characters and a male lead who i would dub the kdrama-terminator (i love you kim do ki)

yes i admit i am a sucker for a good procedural. i can have a little copaganda as a treat okay. but also this was so good not just bc its a really good crime fighting drama but also because you get the teamwork with the fire dept. + the characters have a lot of charm!

my favorite part was when jindo dog said "its jindo dogging time" and jindo dogged all over the place

i did NOT expect them to fridge [redacted] like that it's almost funny like wow the writer had some serious balls ??? he wasn't a favorite so i wasn't all that affected by it but damn. rip to [redacted] fans i guess. personally i liked the new guy a lot better! anyways another banger season and my ship is endgame so im happy lol

i'm 100% serious when i say i haven't lost my mind this much over a drama in years. enemies to lovers freaks where you at??? and i'm not talking about some mild annoyances to lovers stuff no this is the REAL fucking deal. an absolute nutjob of a female lead punishing murderers eye for an eye? a detective who's on her tail & falls for her at the same time? her falling even harder for him and in turn developing the heart of a human - the greatest sin a demon could commit. all this neatly wrapped up in a biting commentary on the justice system? jesus christ. i mean lucifer. i mean stop everything you're doing and watch this NOW

(truly upset @ the OTT fumble here because if this had aired on netflix i know in my very heart it would've done absolute numbers internationally. but alas. i encourage piracy and kang bitna would too so you should watch this even if disney+ won't let you)

quite captivating and interesting but again not very memorable? its the gritty-netflix-drama syndrome i think.. nevertheless, still worth it for king and queen gong yoo and bae doona and the slight resemblance to among uuh-

the worst drama i've ever seen. nothing redeemable about it, it's not even the so-bad-it's-good kind, it's just bad. a snoozefest. so awful and bland that it's genuinely sad. be warned, don't waste your time with it. if you liked this then i'm genuinely side-eyeing you lmao

a good kdrama litmus test: is the drama you're hating on really that bad? is it better than twelve? if yes, then your answer is probably no

to me there's nothing quite like a well executed multi-genre drama! this had everything i love, great leads and supporting cast, great plot, unhinged villain and a nicely balanced genre repertoire. and also, you just know the drama will be a banger if it's about a guy trying to get gold bars out of a building obviously.

another very unconventional show and i was sooo pleasantly surprised by this! it didn't knock me off my chair but it was such a solid drama. i mean!!! show about man stuck in phone!!! kdrama will really take the most insane premise, make it work, make you cry, and then laugh at you in the face for ever doubting it

absolutely fantastic blockbuster/action storytelling with great cast, pacing and ~vibes~ aka the most important aspect in a genre like this. cha dal geon is the embodiment of the unstoppable force and i love him to bits. just a shame it's all incomplete :(

it feels funny putting this show here in the list and yet perfectly apt. murder? corruption? psychopathic villains? surely. but this is also the most unserious show ever. it's genuinely hard to sort this show into a box and i fucking love it so much for this exact reason. i think this is what they mean when they say "peak television". my 인생 드라마!

what if we were a brutal criminal with a high body count and an eccentric morally grey lawyer and we'd team up to commit arson and pull elaborate schemes against dirty capitalists and also we're soulmates? no one's ever gonna do it like VCY sorry in advance for those who will try!

starts off really good but lost me a bit in the later episodes. wasn't a fan of the ml but it was worth watching for the fl and her special ability! also kim jae wook dont forget kim jae wook
