Watched in 2026
All dramas I watch in 2026 with short comments.
-
1. Why Is He Still Single?
Chinese Drama - 2025, 16 episodes
This year’s first completed drama is an easy to watch romcom. It’s funny, actually good, I find a couple of things rather relatable, and the drama is visually pleasing. Both ML and FL, especially FL, are so goodlooking. Started in January, completed on the 20th.

2. Can This Love Be Translated?
Korean Drama - 2026, 12 episodes
Nice scenery and slowburn romance. Some heavy issues but still feelgood! Started in January, completed February 3rd.
-
3. Pro Bono
Korean Drama - 2025, 12 episodes
It was a mix of silly, serious, sometimes good, rather predictable, and by the end pretty boring. A bit of a disappointment. Watchable but nothing more. Started in December 2025, completed February 9th.

4. Chosen Home
Japanese Drama - 2025, 10 episodes
Nice found family story with quirky and lovable characters. Too bad the romance part completely lacked chemistry since it was pretty important for the plot. Good message though, and a fun watch! Watched it in February, conpleted March 10.

5. Love between Lines
Chinese Drama - 2026, 28 episodes
Boring, at least most of it. Not in the beginning but then most of this drama felt like I have seen it before. Evil rich people and too much cuteness and nothing to make you curious. Watched in February, completed March 13th.
-
6. Culinary Class Wars
Korean TV Show - 2024, 12 episodes
It's not a drama... bt it's kind of dramatic, and it's on MDL and I watched it, so why not put it on the list. Too meat-y for my taste but entertaining overall. Watched slowly in the winter during my long sick leave, completed in March.
-
7. The Art of Sarah
Korean Drama - 2026, 8 episodes
Interesting, but maybe too complicated. There were times when I felt lost… I guess I liked it though, worth watching and could have been binged. Watched in March, completed on the 25th.
-
8. The Trunk
Korean Drama - 2024, 8 episodes
Depressed rich people and a weird marriage business make an unusual combination. (Except that it feels pretty typical for its genre too.) Watched in May, completed June 3rd.
-
9. My Holo Love
Korean Drama - 2020, 12 episodes
Enjoyable, despite some plotholes and romance that didn't make my heart flutter. The kind of drama I won't remember forever but don't regret watching. Watched in June, completed on the 18th.
-
10. The Winning Try
Korean Drama - 2025, 12 episodes
It was a nice and heartwarming drama. Predictable and nothing new about it, but it had heart and it wasn't boring except for the first episode and some scenes (Ung's dad... there's always a scene like that in any drama like this, so why not just skip it?) so I'll give it a relatively high rating. Racket Boys was better. Watched in June, completed on the 27th.

11. We Are All Trying Here
Korean Drama - 2026, 12 episodes
Best drama of the year so far! All the characters grow on you (in one way or another; that is not to say I like all of them, but in the end I can't really hate anyone) and the romance actually makes sense and it's just so heartwarming in the end, even with all the pain and sadness! Very good acting, excellent screenplay! Started in June, completed July 5th.

12. Dear Hongrang
Korean Drama - 2025, 11 episodes
It was so bad. Disgustingly violent, weird plot and super boring romance. Watched 12-16th July.
-
13. Melo Movie
Korean Drama - 2025, 10 episodes
It was okay. Watched between 8th and 16th of July.
