Dear lord, how I screamed. I've been wanting a solid vampire BL for SO LONG, and it's with Joss and Gawin???? I can't put to words how excited I am for this, even if it's just as cheesy as the trailer made it seem, lol. Please don't let them screw this up. It's not hard to make a decent vampire show if you don't try to reinvent the wheel.

This is everything I've wanted for so freaking long. I'm SO happy they aren't playing it safe after Pit Babe. A truly dark and gritty horror series that is unapologetically gay and plays on several tropes I adore (I'll protect you from anything, seeing ghosts, falling in love under danger, etc.). It's starting to get really hard to organize this list when like my top eight is basically equal in how badly I want them.

It's crazy to me how we went from no vampire BLs to the year of the vampire. I hope this is the start of more exciting and interesting plots in BL moving forward.

The original pilot trailer was absolute perfection, and I'm kind of afraid that the actual production won't live up to it. The editing, the music, the storytelling--it was all there, and that was just the pilot trailer! I love Zee and Nu, and I'm very excited for a bodyguard/prince BL. We need more stuff like this! I have my fingers crossed for action, violence, lots of sexual tension, drama, and sexiness. They're putting a lot of money into this one. I really need it to be amazing (and to actually come out, that's a big one). EDIT: The second pilot was still good, and I loved some additions but am not so sure about some of the changes. I hope this still ends up being amazing.

I'm so excited for this! We're finally getting exciting shows that have romance on the side! Until recently that was how most exciting shows went, only it HAD to be het. Now we're evening the playing fields. Gay stuff doesn't have to only be in romance. Het trickles into EVERYTHING, but now one minds that. I feel like a positive shift is coming along in certain media.

I don't want to accept it, but I think this one might be canceled. No official announcement, but we shouldn't get our hopes up. I just want to see hot guys beating each other up and falling in love, damn it! EDIT: It's back on!!! I can't believe it! I seriously waited like four years. Now I'm scared it won't live up to expectations after all this time. But I have my fingers crossed it does indeed come out and is at least fun and exciting if not perfect.

I'm both excited and nervous for this one. Sammon tends to bring us some good thriller content, and even the pilot looks intriguing. I just hope it all turns out great, because I loved Manner of Death, and this reminds me of it a bit.

I'm losing my mind over this. I can't believe Dew is the other guy! I remember talking to other fans about wanting Gun in a love triangle where the three end up dating at the end. I don't want to get my hopes up, so I assume that isn't what happens here, but dear lord, if those three were a throuple? I would die of joy. Plus yay for another OffGun show, this time for grownups. Their recent stuff was sweet, but it didn't allow them to show off their range. It looks great, but we'll see when the official trailer comes out.

So happy to get a second season! I hope all of the guys make appearances. I'd like to see how things are going with them. Also I'm just excited to see some of these guys kiss other guys. Several of them have only been with their scene partner on any show. (Well, fine, only two, but still!)

I love this messy drama thing, though this one seems pretty hectic. Hopefully it's a lot of fun, and not full of heartbreak at the end. I'm really loving how GMMTV is embracing this complicated drama stuff with BL/GL casts. 

There were quite a few issues with Pit Babe, but overall, I really liked it. I'm hoping they work out all of the kinks (metaphorically speaking) in this season.

Might not have any M/M in it, which would be a shame and a waste, but hopefully we'll finally be getting some BL in the zombie genre.

Another interesting, twisty plot with a m/m pairing! Only I'm not sure about the story. I'm excited, but it feels like something that could be messed up very easily. But I have my fingers crossed.

Looks a little cheesy and awkward, but hopefully it'll be solid and entertaining overall.

I'm gonna have to wait on this one to fully air before I watch it. I'm terrified of how it'll end. This looks amazing, honestly, the cast and the director and writer and everything. This could be huge. But if Aof pulls another time jump happy ending I'm gonna fly to Thailand and egg his house. He loves to separate his couples, and it's super annoying. But I'm still excited because I'm trying to have faith in him here.

Thought this one was canceled, and I was so sad--but apparently now they're estimating a 2025 release. Hopefully that means they're giving it all of the time and attention it needs to be as amazing as it looks.

I love stories surrounding musical groups, and this feels fairly close to a kpop idol sort of drama. My main reason for being thrilled is the pairing, though. I hope Lego gets a secondary couple or something.

These two are so adorable, and I love crime/mafia whatever themes, so I'm really hoping this is fun and full of action.

Honestly, kind of skeptical about this one, but I adore Earth and Mix, so I'm trying to keep my spirits up. Just praying it's more Moonlight Chicken and less Cupid's Last Wish. EDIT: Now that I've seen the trailer, I'm actually really excited for this one!

This looks adorable, though I'm hoping they smooth out some of the tone issues that were in the pilot. It's great to see a flamboyant, femme main character who isn't there to be mocked, though the line there can be tricky. I love Nut, though, so I'm excited.

I like that Singto and Krist are reuninting and all, but it's the fact that this is a story about two exes that has me especially excited. From the start, there's no "it's okay if it's you" or sexuality questioning. It's just two guys who loved each other, broke up, and are getting a second chance. I'm so pumped.

I'm a bit more excited about Happy Ending, the other upcoming JeffBarcode show, but since this one is guaranteed sweet romance, I'm pumped for it. I just hope it does come out in 2024.

I'm sad James won't be involved, as he's very pretty (shallow moment), but I hope this ends up being great regardless. I respect Net and really hope he clicks well with  his new partner. I am a bit surprised by how young the new actor seems, which might change the feeling of the dynamic, but I still like the idea. Here's hoping it's another great show.

Thought this might be canceled, but it's on for 2025. I wasn't sure initially how action-oriented it would be, but it does sound a bit mysterious and angsty. Here's hoping it's good.

In it for Boss and Noeul. I'm not sure what to expect, but I hope it's fun. MAME seems to be inching away from her full-toxic era, which appeals to me more, and I really do love Boss. >.>;;

There's a delicate line here of drama and comedy that could end up being really doofy and stale. Hopefully it's actually a great show, because I love this pairing. And I like Pond being all intimidating like that, haha.

People were asking for a woman-central Only Friends, and we got it! Or so it seems. This looks like a lot of fun, and it'll give a lot of actresses more of a spotlight, since the guys tend to corner that market, both in and out of BL.

I have no idea if this will be any good. It sounds like a very indie, first time project. But the teaser trailer caught my eye. I'm really hoping this will be good. We need more stuff like it.

If this isn't m/m (since there is romance), I think it'll irritate me too much to watch this. We get so few exciting BLs, and this could be a great opportunity. But if it IS gay at all, I'll bump this up much higher, because it sounds right up my alley. If I find out there is confirmed m/m though, this is shooting right up into my top ten. (I am VERY concerned about a "twist" that is very common in this kind of media, though, and that would destroy the show for me, so I have my fingers crossed it doesn't go there.)

I'm mostly just excited for First/Khao because I love them. I love cats, but the show might be a tiiiiny bit too sweet and squishy. I'm still gonna watch it, for sure, but it's not on this list for the plot, just because I'm not a huge fan of soft, low-plot type stuff.

I'm purely excited about the casting. It doesn't look like my type of plot at a glance, but I hope it ends up being good. I also hope it helps to propel Fluke further in his career. EDIT: After seeing the pilot trailer, I'm much more excited for this. It looks a little dark and interesting, and as much as I love Fluke, his co-star is so insanely hot. Damn. I hope this ends up being good and not cheap. With drama it can really go either way. Let them examine these topics with the care they need, please!

This seems to have a bit of crime-ish/mafia vibe to it, so I'm hoping it'll be high action and exciting. Lowering my expectations, though. It still sounds fun at the moment, but we'll see.

Many GLs aren't really for me, because they're starting out and testing the waters in the way BL did before it. Most f/f stuff I've seen was fluffy and light, or incredibly sexual but not heavy on plot. But if they pull of a GL mafia show, I will lose my mind. I really hope it happens and that it's amazing.

I'm not quite chomping at the bit for this one, but we didn't get a lot of content, so I'm still forming my opinion. Regardless, I'm happy for another supernatural type of BL.

Mostly just excited for TayNew because I love Tay and like seeing him kiss other guys. The story itself doesn't be my type, but I have my fingers crossed regardless.

I enjoyed the first season and adored the movie. I still haven't seen the second season, which is just an expansion of the movie, but I'm really excited to see their story continued. Hopefully this time we'll get a solid, certain, happy ending.

I love MileApo, and I look forward to this, even though it makes me a little nervous. I hope it's good. I haven't seen the movie yet, but I have my fingers crossed that the show is able to utilize their charm while giving us quality. I also hope they don't tone down the romance, etc.

Anything that suggests action of some sort, I'm in. I hope this is good. There were a bunch of boxing shows licensed a while ago, but none of them ever happened. Ever since Wandee Goodday, though, they're finally coming out of the woodwork. 

This might just be a bromance. They said at the expo that apparently they're still deciding what the relationship between the two will be. I'm shocked it even came THIS close to a BL. So maybe, like Dew, they'll surprise us. But even if it's just bromance, I love a good bromance as long as they truly care about each other and no one has a girl shoved in there so the balls don't touch.

I love the concept here, but the company itself seems to be having some issues, and I'm guessing the final product will be pretty low-quality, if it even comes out. Otherwise, this would be much higher on my list. But I still have hope.

Sounds interesting, and GL deserves more love. I know little about it, so my interest may change, but otherwise I hope it's good.

May not have any romance, but a gay couple at the center of a death game has never happened before, so I have my fingers crossed that this is awesome.

This actually doesn't look great from the pilot, but I'm crossing my fingers that the final product is much better. It's an unusual concept in BL, so I have my fingers crossed, at any rate.

I have multiple reasons to be excited about this one, but as time passes with no word, I fear we may never see it. It was higher on the list before, but I'm keeping things that are more likely to let me down (by sucking, by being canceled, by being about things I'm not into despite the interesting premise, etc) near the bottom.

Possibly canceled. I'm putting the ones with long periods of radio silence near the bottom, because at this rate I don't know if we'll even get them.

This one has been silent a long time. :( EDIT: It released a short movie, and I guess they're trying to get crowd funding for the series now. So who knows if this will happen.

Yet another series I was SO excited for that seems to have been abandoned. I'm not gonna get my hopes up here and true to accept that it isn't  likely to happen at this point.

This may actually be canceled. I had it in my top ten before, but since it seems the company may have bit off more than it could chew, my hopes for it have drastically lowered. I hope someone more capable picks it up, or that we just get more shows with awesome concepts and casts like it that are actually done well.

This may or may not be canceled, because the company situation is a mess, and honestly the photoshopping has me side-eying the entire thing, but we need more dark BL, so I have my fingers crossed that it DOES happen and is better than it looks.

Same as the above, this is having some company issues. This seems less likely to be interesting, and I assume it'll lean more toward slice of life with a mafia background, but maybe not. Benefit of the doubt for now.

Mixed feelings here, but we have a criminally low amount of vampire BL (one legit series, one pseudo series, three movies--all of which are weird as hell). We need all the vampire stuff we can get. EDIT: This one might not even come out, but honestly, we're getting four other vampire series aimed for 2024, so I'm excited to see some new interpretations.

Despite promises made, it looks like this one will be canceled. Pretty heartbroken over it.
