Historical Cdramas: Strong, intelligent fml led stories.

The female actor was Perfect for this role. Every bit of her story was well thought out, and she showcased that being "strong" as a woman doesn't necessarily mean being strong physically. She is intelligent, capable and endearing; she uses her brains and other people's underestimation of her skills against her opponents through whatever tasks she had to complete, whether she was alone or not. 

The story is so impeccable that I'm literally tearing up within the first couple of episodes, and that only happens if the script is insane and the acting is at or higher than that level

Also, I believe the cinematography and script for this cdrama should be studied.

Multiple love lines and matches and relationships. No person is perfect and no relationship is perfect. 

A young woman's intelligence and kindness are true strengths. A woman married to a man with multiple wives, we don't see this concept often, and if so, the wives are usually considered scheming and just "evil" for reasons, but in this case, it was nice to see a woman capable of looking after another woman without getting jealous. Would love to see more characters like these in the future, just to keep things historically accurate and also to show how different relationships between women can be and how they can actually exist without turning into villains or victims.

First part of this story followed a matriarchy, while the 2nd part followed a patricarchal family. The first part follows an all-women family who are in charge of their centuries-old business and how they need to act to get to their goals, and also the difficulties that could arise when their ambitions all clash and also how women act when they do not need to rely on a man or men in general, and in that setting how men are treated.

And the 2nd half focuses on how a patriarchy deals with very similar situations; how a patriarchy deals with relationships, trust and responsibility and in turn we also see how fully realised women interact with the patriarchal side.

And we also see a man on his knees with puppy eyes. 10/10...

The only reason this is so far down is that I haven't finished, but from what I've seen so far and felt (I cried so much), this should 100% be on this list.

In my opinion, I consider the 2nd fml (the Empress) to be the strong fml.
