My 2024 "LEFTOVERS" (= "ON HOLD" List 2024)

These are the Asian dramas/shows I started in 2024 but couldn’t finish for one reason or another. They’ve been ON HOLD for weeks, months, sometimes years.

Since I don’t want to drag these “leftovers” into the next year (2026), I’ve decided to finish them all in 2025, one by one.
The goal is to clear this ON HOLD list completely by the end of 2025/beginning of 2026 (Ahem, a girl can hope!🙄😅) because, knowing myself, I’ll inevitably accumulate new “leftovers” by the end of this year… and then even more by the end of next year… and so on.

Korean TV Show - 2021, 6 episodes

Initially started in June '24. Temporarely ON HOLD.
Resumed in March '25 but finally DROPPED that same month after watching one more episode.
2. Autumn's Concerto

Taiwanese Drama - 2009, 21 episodes

Initially started mid‑July 2024.
And then something “better” probably came along… because it’s been ON HOLD (episode 4) ever since.
After 2 years ON HOLD, finally resumed around mid‑August ’26. Restarted from the beginning.
Currently watching. Slowly. Not rated yet.
3. Medical Examiner Dr. Qin

Chinese Drama - 2016, 20 episodes

Initially STARTED in June 2024. Was temporarely ON HOLD.
Finally resumed & COMPLETED in March '25.
4. Stranger

Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes

First started watching 3 episodes in May '24. Temporarely ON HOLD.
Finally resumed end December '25 & COMPLETED it by mid-March '26.
5. The King’s Avatar

Chinese Drama - 2019, 40 episodes

Started in August '24.
Three episodes in and already liking it so much better than "Falling Into Your Smile" on the same subject.
Was then put ON HOLD because of a busy schedule.
6. The Untamed

Chinese Drama - 2019, 50 episodes

Initially STARTED in July '24. Watched slowly and laboriously until episode 26. Then ON HOLD for months.
Finally DROPPED it once and for all in March '25.
7. Twinkling Watermelon

Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes

First started watching 6 episodes in May '24. ON HOLD since then.
