• It starts off with some really nice action scenes and visuals..and talk no less..it only keeps getting better.

UNPREDICTABLE 

The story line is intriguing. Fan Xian is a very smart and strong man. His background is very mysterious. His mom was dead when he was born and he never knew who she was. This is a drama that contains a lot of surprises and mysteries.  The suspense, the comedy, the everything was to die for.

A Hidden Gem That Deserves Far More Love

This drama has one of the clearest, neatest storylines I’ve ever seen—nothing feels rushed, and every character gets the attention and development they deserve. The suspense is kept alive till the very last episode; even though most of the story unfolds by episode 5, you're still unsure what will happen by episode 58, which is a huge kudos to the writer.

Timeloop mystery 

 The story and the plot were concised and the time loop plots were not boring because they gave us more and new informations. Each episode also explored the different story about each passangers. It gave me suspense and made me curious that I kept wanting more.

But if you dig deeper, the show reveals something much darker: a world full of hypocrisy, where those in power manipulate these ideals to keep control, and innocent people suffer because of it.

A story about the strong friendship bonds in the martial arts world.It has great elements of a Chinese historical drama - good bromance, excellent CGI to complement great fight scenes, an engaging plot with good pacing, and a palace politics plot that doesn’t bore me to death.The first half of the show is very fun and interesting, however the second half becomes too political and loses the adventurous charm.

While not romance-focused and not timeline-accurate to BOY/DY, it stands strong as an emotional, visually striking standalone.

slow-burning  love story of balance between feeling too little and too much. 

The ML is not a red flag. Neither is the FL. They are just two very different individuals. One feels too little. The other feels too much. One has no trouble with expressing herself, the other has never expressed himself before he met her. They are a truly balanced pair and to see them mature from season 1 to season was a delightful experience.

From the beginning, this drama is different.  "The Journey to You" combines intense intrigue with a deeply emotional journey.  There was suspense, thrill, hints of romance, and sibling bonds with a touch of comedy from a specific character I adore so much.
The cinematography was very movie-like and I don't think we see this in a lot of dramas.

FL (Ren Ruyi) is THE lethal yet graceful assassin you'll ever see in Cdrama land. This is her story in finding a new purpose in life, to be more humane than just being a "killing machine," from a lone wolf to finally finding the wolf pack that can fight together with her.
ML (Ning Yuanzhou) is a former assassin and leader of the country's intel organization. The greenest of green flags ML ever. He's heroic, charismatic, affectionate to those he loves, not an annoyingly cold character but still ruthless and unrestrained to enemies.
Ability-wise, we can say they're the the birds of a feather that flock together.

A Dark but Beautiful Revenge Romance

“My Lethal Man” is an intense show. Intense emotion, intense mysteries, intense chemistry. The acting is phenomenal, and the writing keeps you hooked and guessing. Our two leads absolutely astounded me, both as actors and as characters.

It’s a melodrama; so expect some of those crazy twists. But, surprisingly, it doesn’t fall prey to the ridiculousness of many C-Dramas. And, it despite the angst, the writers deliver an excellent ending with our characters having developed so beautifully and finally finding healing.

• Overall the drama did a good job in conveying the story it was telling. However, there is no denying that the second half of the drama suffered from the multiple episode cut. There were noticeable areas where it felt that something was missing.

From the very first episodes, the close-up shots were wow — the chemistry between the leads felt natural, warm, and effortless. There were no plot holes, and the FL’s concerns were always valid. The story handled emotional issues maturely, which made everything feel grounded and realistic.
