Unusually to other female leads on this list l Jin Mi is NOT A BADASS! But Jin Mi is just so precious. She was such a cute and funny girl at the beginning and did develope into a nice intelligent woman. She did make frustrating mistakes but I didn't feel frustrated by her, I wanted to hug and protect her and tech her LOVE! Oh god the emotions strike again.

Wei Ying Luo reminds me very much of Wei Yang (Princess Wei Yang).

But Ying Luo is more "aggressive" more straight forward even with the emperor. She never lies to get out of her situation, she just presents the facts. 

One quote from Ying Luo that describes her character perfectly: "If problems don't come to me, I won't go creating them. But when they do appear, I don't fear them"  ep.42
