It can also include a cruel hero who manhandles the heroine but not necessary.

Best kdrama I watched that year. A masterpiece. The main leads' chemistry is off the charts and this is not even a romantic genre. It's a Drama with a capital 'D'. The story of a stalker and how his prey was the most selfless person I had seen portrayed in a long while. What a ride it was!
