Rewatch Worthy Dramas
Some dramas you watch once and you're good but some you comeback to every now and then. This is a list of dramas that I always comeback to for one reason or another.
-
1. Healer
Korean Drama - 2014, 20 episodes
I rewatched it as soon as I finished it. I couldn't get over it. I need another drama similar to this.
-
2. Eternal Love
Chinese Drama - 2017, 58 episodes
Ah...the feel. I binged this in 2 days.
-
3. Kaew Tah Pee
Thai Drama - 2006, 13 episodes
A classic favourite. I comeback it every now and then. Love the main couple but I hate the ex-girlfriend.
-
4. Jamloei Rak
Thai Drama - 2008, 18 episodes
Some people love it but some hate it. For me I enjoy it. A warning for those who are new to lakorn, this drama contains kidnapping and one rape scene. Rape scene is not explicit but if you're offended by it, don't watch it.

5. Stairway to Heaven
Korean Drama - 2003, 20 episodes
I have a love hate relationship with this drama. Love the story but hate the ending. I also hate the step sister, mother and sometime the step brother. I refuse to watch the last episode. If you haven't seen it go watch it but keep a box of tissue close by cause you'll definitely reach for it.

6. Love Me If You Dare
Chinese Drama - 2015, 24 episodes
It's not a romcom. If you love mystery/thriller/suspense/crime you love this one.
-
7. Something about 1 Percent
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
Need a little pick me up? This is the drama for you. An easy fun watch, beautiful romance and plenty of steamy kisses that leave you wanting more.
-
8. Sawan Biang
Thai Drama - 2008, 12 episodes
Deep down all he ever wanted is someone who would love and care for him and would stay by his side. When he finally found someone he loves, he doesn't know how to express his affection for her. His dad never showed him any affection and worse his dad remarry someone he hates. Personally I really enjoy this drama but it's not for everyone. There are rape scenes in here so don't watch it if you're offended by it.

9. Joy of Life
Chinese Drama - 2019, 46 episodes
-
10. The Untamed
Chinese Drama - 2019, 50 episodes
I wasn't part of the hype but I'm definitely a fan now. I checked this one out because I was curious how a drama base on a BL novel slip through China's strict censorship laws. I went into it without any expectation and fell in love the characters and the show in general. Yes it's BL but there are no explicit scene. Everything is implied. If you're offended by BL then skip it but if you're open minded and want to give it shot then view their relationship as bromance, I'm sure you're going to enjoy it.
This is one of those shows you have to rewatch to fully appreciate it. The first time you watch it, you'll fall in love with the characters and the story, the second you watch it you'll notice and appreciate the subtle clues and hints in the beginning and you are more emotionally involve in the characters.
This best thing about this drama is the well written, well-fleshed out characters. I don't want to go into too much details but I'll say one thing, there are characters you'll love and cheer for and there are characters you'll love to hate but you understand where they come from and what influence their decision and cause of actions.
If you're after a well written story filled with colourful characters then give The Untamed a shot. You won't be disappointed. Don't let the fact that this drama is base on a BL novel stop you from watching an amazing show. Go in with an open mind and you'll definitely enjoy it.

11. Hospital Playlist
Korean Drama - 2020, 12 episodes
Hospital Playlist doesn't follow the standard drama recipe which can leave you wondering where is this drama taking you? Hospital Playlist follows the relationship of 5 long time friends of 20 years in their early 40s go through the challenges of life and work. They're all doctors working in the same hospital but different department. Viewers are taken on a journey to discover what life is like for doctors, the interaction, relationship and emotional rollercoaster they share with friends, family, colleagues and patients. This drama is heavily character driven. Don't try searching for a plot or you'll be disappointed. Go into this with an open mind and you'll fall in love with all the characters before long.

12. Cruel Romance
Chinese Drama - 2015, 40 episodes
If you want a good pure romance drama but not the flowery romcom type then give this one a shot.
