Shanbao is an absolute queen ughhh the amount of slapping she does in the earlier episodes is crazyyy!! She is genuinely ruthless and it mirrors Jianglai's personality from the first episode.

Ling Buyi and Cheng Shaoshang are a beautiful couple and I love how Buyi just lets Shaoshang be herself, and doesn't hinder her (unless he knows she could get hurt). Ling Buyi's longing for Shaoshang is so heartfelt, and Wu Lei portrays it so well with his subtle twitching and slow blinking like ughhhhh I genuinely love this cdrama
