Taiwanese/Chinese BL's

Chinese - Censored - Adaptation of a novel. So fucking good. Even though its censored and a "bromance", it ain't. Them boys are in love with each other. They did a phenomenal  job and skyrocketed Wang Yibo (from UNIQ) and Xiao Zhan into stardom. Hell, AO3 got banned in China because of this show (well kind of. It was a whole thing). 

Taiwanese - Has it's issues but still good. Available on VIKI

The following shows in the HIStory series are like in the same universe but not related and do not need to be watched in order. 

Taiwanese - Favorite comfort show. Easy watch. Available on VIKI

Taiwanese - So good. I'm a sucker for sport shows. Available on VIKI

Taiwanese - Probably my top Taiwanese show but I'm keeping it in order

I've watched this so many time. Still waiting for a season two cause if I had my way, there would be one. Available on VIKI

Taiwanese - Amazing. 10/10. If you don't want to cry, don't watch episode 10. Fair warning. Available on VIKI

Taiwanese - I love the main couple and kind of ignore the second couple for reasons you find out real quickly.  Love the show anyway. Available on VIKI

Taiwanese - It took me a little longer to like than the previous stories. But another love. Available on VIKI

Taiwanese - OMG! Amazing. If you like forbidden romance (adopted brothers), this is for you. Some people didn't like cause of the writing in the second half but I loved it. Available on VIKI 

Taiwanese - If we do not get a season two after that ending and just the overall masterpiece this show was, I will cry and burn everything to the ground. Available on IQIYI and VIKI

Chinese - This show was so good, the actors had such great chemistry, that the Chinese government banned them from airing it part way through and unofficially told the actors that they could not be seen in public together. I'm still hoping one day we'll get some unreleased footage or something

Taiwanese - I can't think of what to say. So good. Second couple was wonderful though frustrating as hell. Available on VIKI, Gagaoolala, and IQIYI

Technically Chinese but produced in Thailand to get around the ban - So good! I want more! - Available on IQIYI, VIKI, and Gagaoolala

Chinese - Censored - Around the same level as The Untamed. So good. Available on VIKI and Netflix

Taiwanese - One of the first good Taiwanese BL's outside of HIStory. Has a Korean actor that used to be an idol. Available on VIKI

Taiwanese - Cute story as always there was just some awkwardness with editing at times. Available on VIKI

Taiwanese - Watched when it first came out so I don't remember much but it was good. Available on VIKI and IQIYI

Taiwanese - Was not the biggest fan cause of the writing but I've been meaning to rewatch to see if I feel the same way cause I did like the actors - Available on VIKI

Chinese - Censored - Adaptation from a novel - Nice fantasy, a little slower paced and the "bromance" wasn't as big a focus but still really good. Available on Youtube

Chinese - Censored - Good! Has a weird ending for some reason. I believe it got cut off by the government too if I remember right. But still worth a watch - Available on IQIYI and VIKI (though apparently they cut some of the scenes so if you go another route, you may be able to find the full version ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )

Chinese - It's been a while so I don't remember much but I gave it a good score so it was good. Available on VIKI

Taiwanese - Good high school show. Available on VIKI and Gagaoolala

Chinese - Censored BL. Remake of Addicted. Pretty sure we're not getting a second season cause of the government again. But still good! Available on VIKI

Taiwanese - Something different and good. I'm not one for stories where people fall for robots but this was good. Available on IQIYI and VIKI

Taiwanese - Easy to watch but annoying as shit. Miscommunication ruled the day. Available on VIKI

Taiwanese - Darker themes. Not the best but def not the worst. Available on VIKI and Gagaoolala

Chinese - A bromance that would definitely be a BL if not produced in China. Available on VIKI

Taiwanese - Made during Covid and quarantine so a nice change in filming style
