11. A drama where a character has a pet
Finished: 12.04.2025 - I think this show was done beautifully. The way it tackled topics like masculinity and femininity, and how people "should" be was really really nice! I really liked the characters too, you feel bad even for the "big bad" of the show, because at the end of the day they're just people with their own personal problems. As a side note, the village chief being a BTS fan and Bang Beauty buying her own engagement ring were peak moments, girlbossing all the way to the last chapter! And let's all bow down for president (village chief) Zhu Yen!
P.S.: Damn Kopiko coming strong in all these shows!

12. Moving
Korean Drama - 2023, 20 episodes
12. A drama where changes in time are visible
Finished: 16.02.2025 - That was an AMAZING show. I would definitely rewatch it again, just to be able to enjoy episodes 8, 9, 11, 12 and 14 again! I read on Reddit that they thought the show should be called "Flashbacks", because they kept telling the parents' stories instead of the high schoolers, but I actually enjoyed their stories even more!
*SPOILERS* I can't wait for season 2 to drop, I can't believe we weren't able to see Doo-sik reunite with his family for more than 1 minute, that was absolutely tragic. It was also really interesting how people with powers weren't really good nor bad, and just tools to their governments, so that's an aspect I really enjoyed (because the whole show didn't use the whole "North Korea bad because North Korea" trope, so that was really refreshing).
I'd absolutely watch this show again, and I'm actually going to create a custom list with shows I'd definitely rewatch thanks to it!

Finished: 25.02.2025 - After years and years of putting it off I FINALLY watched this show, and I absolutely loved it! All the characters were charming, even the ones you wanted to hate, and the main characters had a lot of chemistry! I also like how they subverted some really common tropes, and how Mr. Kim ended up being part of the permanent gang!

28. Duty after School: Part 1
Korean Drama - 2023, 6 episodes
28. A drama that is listed in last year’s Drama Database
Finished (part 1): 01.01.2025 - I've been wanting to watch this drama since it was released back in 2023, as I first read the Webtoon when it was being traslated to English in 2015 and absolutely LOVED it. The acting was amazing and it was pretty surpising to see how the high school children behave just like that, like children, and not like some war machines. Can't wait to see part too! Also, and *MAJOR SPOILER*, I LOVED the platoon leader, and I just glad he had his scenes in the last episode without his helmet on, because wow if he isn't a pretty man.
Finished (part 2): 02.01.2025 - Did I binge the whole show? Yeah. Was it worth it? Absolutely! I've read that some people weren't happy with how part 2 was done and how it finished, but I think it was a great as part 1! Of course there's a tone shift after the events that happened before, but I think it was done great, and I really loved the last episode and the ending, as it tried to recreate what happened in the Webtoon too, which is something I missed.

-
35. Glorious Day
Korean Drama - 2014, 44 episodes
35. A mid-long form drama
Finished: 18.01.2025 - This show was absolutely gorgeous. The way the characters changed from the first to the last episode, and there were moments that actually made me cry!
- Spoiler- I thought it was sad but really realistic that the grandma's dementia got worse and she was only able to remember her daughter, that part did make me cry, but I also think it's really interesting how they actually showed that, and not have a "Wow grandma suddenly is 100% OK and can remember everyone" moment.
