If you want to know how to make a movie disturbing without showing any graphic violence, watch this. It stays true to the Murakami masterpiece it's derived from and retains its atmospheric, visceral horror quality. 

I think this film is very underrated. Every horror list out there has I See The Devil and Audition on top which I really can't understand. Not saying those films aren't any good, of course not, but I just mean this one deserves the same love for how powerful it is.

I think this is one of Takashi Miike's best work. 

I'm oddly nostalgic about this episode of the trilogy. Just so raw and messed up. 

Brilliant story about grief and trauma and living with ghosts. 

Definitely not for the faint of heart. Seriously, don't watch if you can't deal with extreme, graphic violence 

Gritty, action packed, suspense thriller with a heart

Understated. Disturbing because it's not dramatic and about real people. 

Like Cutter and Old Boy I'm oddly nostalgic about this show.
