Light Dramas

A little bit of angst because of the cross dressing secret, but mostly just fun / enjoyable and very over the top romantic tropes. The second couple deals with a health issue, but you can skip that storyline entirely and not miss out on anything important.

Some very brief school angst at the beginning, but the story moves past that quickly. Some brief separation angst as well, also resolved quickly.

A few life or death moments, but I didn't take them very seriously given the tone of the drama. Near the end there's a brief amnesia storyline, but that doesn't last too long.

The drama does touch on the topics of misogyny / traditional gender roles, prejudices and double standards and infidelity.

Warning: the main character in this BL is very anxious, which sometimes made it hard for me to relax while watching this. 

Cheesy. Low budget. Pirates, heroes and romance. The epitome of light content.
