Chinen Kazuta, known simply as Kazuta, is a Japanese singer, dancer and member of N.SSIGN (엔싸인). Before debuting, he was a vocal student at EXPG Studio Okinawa for 2 years. He was a basketball player for 9 years during middle and high school, and he originally wanted to become a professional player. He moved to South Korea at age 21 to pursue his singing career.

In 2022, he entered the singing competition "Stars Awakening", produced by South Korea's Channel A and Japan's ABEMA. He was part of team idol who were declared the winners and, as part of the Top-7, he was allowed to debut as a member of a boy group, initially called YOUTH STAR and later changed to N.SSIGN, under n.CH Entertainment (n.CH엔터테인먼트). They released a pre-debut mini-album, "Salty", and held some concerts in Japan and South Korea. Originally, the company planned it as a 2-year project group, but after several discussions, it was decided to make it a permanent one.

He officially debuted as the group's leader, main dancer and lead vocalist in August 2023 with the album "Birth of Cosmo".
