Hye In
- Name: Hye In
- Native name: 혜인
- Also Known as: Lee Hye In, 이혜인, U.Jeong, 유정, Grace Lee, 李惠仁
- Nationality: South Korean
- Gender: Female
- Born: April 21, 2008
- Age: 18
Before debuting as a singer, she worked as a child model for the brand Prankers in August 2019. She then walked the runway during the 2019 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Moscow, Russia. In December of that year, she won the Grand Prize for the 2019 Little Look of the Year, a competition for child models. She remains a commercial model for several brands.
She made her singing debut in July 2017 (under the stage name U.Jeong) as part of the kid girl group U.SSO GIRL with their first digital single, "Go Go Sing", and was a groupmate of BABYMONSTER's Rora. Less than a year later, she left the group and switched agencies.
She then re-debuted in December 2020 as part of another children's co-ed group, PLAY WITH ME CLUB, with the digital single "Let's Play". She made an appearance on the EBS children's television show "Live Talk! Talk! Boni Hani!" as a member of the co-ed dance group SIXDANCE. Due to her age, she graduated from the group in May 2021.
She re-debuted again in July 2022 as NEWJEANS's (뉴진스) maknae with the single "Attention".
In April 2024, a conflict regarding management and control of the group emerged between ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin and ADOR and HYBE top executives. Min claimed the group had unfair competition from other HYBE groups, and ADOR/HYBE executives claimed Min was trying to gain sole ownership of NEWJEANS. In August, Min was fired, and the following month, the members went on a livestream, refuted HYBE claims, and gave chairman Bang Si Hyuk 2 weeks to reinstate Min (something that did not happen).
In November 2024, the 5 members decided to terminate their contracts with the agency, but this was contested the next month. Then, in January 2025, ADOR filed an injunction to prevent the members from independently signing any advertising contract while the dispute remains active. In February, they decided to rebrand as NJZ and re-debuted under their new name in March 2025 by attending the ComplexCon Music Festival in Hong Kong.
