In February 2002, his screenwriting debut was with the Shanghai Television drama series "Dad, Go Forward" (老爸向前冲). In April 2003, he created the TV series "Boy and Girl" (男才女貌). Since then, he has written more than 200 film and TV scripts, and his works have won the "Flying Apsaras Award" (飞天奖) and the "Peony Award" (牡丹奖).
In 2011, his screenplay "Naked Wedding" (裸婚时代) won the Best Screenplay Award at the Youku Film and Television Festival. In September 2017, he was awarded "Screenwriter of the Year for Web Series" for "Ten Miles of Spring Wind Can't Compare to You" (春风十里不如你).
