Nolasco wrote the screenplays of such big hits as Nasaan Ka Irog?, Bituing Marikit, Pakiusap and Milagro ng Nazareno sa Quiapo.
Nolasco won the Premio Zobel in 1979 for his writings in Spanish in such publications as El Debate, La Opinion and Academia Filipino. But the multi-talented Nolasco was also a discoverer of stars, among them Rosa Rosal, Leila Morena, Lilia Dizon, Eddie del Mar, Pilar Padilla and Vida Florante.
