Before debuting, he was a trainee (using the stage name Hanwool) at C on H Entertainment and was set to become a member of their new boy group temporarily named C on H. However, in November 2020, the agency suspended the group's activities and 3 out of the 4 members left the company.
After participating in several singing survival shows, he signed a contract with Aubemoon Studio (오브문스튜디오) and finally made his debut (using the stage name Kangsan) in April 2024 as NCHIVE's main rapper and producer with their first single album, "Drive".
