Before debuting, he got accepted at JYP Entertainment but he missed the deadline to reply as his phone was broken and could not read the message.
He made his debut in February 2021 as the group's vocalist and rapper with their first EP, "History of Kingdom: Part I. Arthur".
In April 2024, GF Entertainment (GF 엔터테인먼트) announced the group rebranded as THE KINGDOM ahead of their 8th EP, "Realize".
He enlisted for his mandatory military service on June 30, 2026.
