Kim Jong Wan
- Name: Kim Jong Wan
- Native name: 김종완
- Nationality: South Korean
- Gender: Male
- Born: December 24, 1980
- Age: 45
He moved to Switzerland in middle school and decided to learn to play the guitar as he had a hard time making friends, so he spent learning nearly 15 hours per day.
He returned to South Korea in his third year of high school, where he met Lee Jae Kyung and Jung Jae Won and, after a while, decided to form a band in 1999. They chose the name NELL as a reference to the film starring Jodie Foster.
He made his debut in 2001 as NELL's vocalist, guitarist and occasional keyboardist with their first album, "Reflection Of". He is also in charge of writing the lyrics and composing most of the band's songs. The band had no representation in the beginning and still managed to produce two independent albums.
In 2002, they signed with Seo Taiji's agency, Goesoo Indigene, and remained with the agency until 2006, when they moved to Woollim Entertainment.
In January 2013, they made their Japanese debut with the Japanese edition of "Slip Away". By 2016, their contract with Woollim ended, and a few weeks later, they set up their own independent label called Space Bohemian.
