He was revealed as a new member in July 2022. The group, managed by Choeun Entertainment (조은엔터테인먼트), debuted in September 2012 but underwent many lineup changes starting in 2014 as they struggled to find a steady fanbase and opportunities to promote. Even after his reveal as a new member, the group spent over a year on hiatus until he was able to record new material.
In November 2023, it was announced that the group (now composed of 5 members) was re-branding as 24K+. He made his official debut a few days later as 24K+'s vocalist and main dancer with their mini-album, "Roller Coaster".
