Oh Yoo Mi, known professionally as Youme (and not to be confused with singer Shin Yoo Mi), is a South Korean singer, vocal trainer and Youtuber. She graduated from Chungju Yeseong Girls' High School. She made her debut in 1998 with a self-produced single album "Winter's Promise" and later released "Go" in 2000, but, despite making appearances on TV, she was not successful and decided to quit all singing activities. In 2002, she tried again after signing with Sidus HQ and releasing her first official album with the song "Love is Always Thirsty". It became a popular song that had actors Jun Ji Hyun and Jung Woo Sung in the MV and was later used for a commercial. However, she had very few chances to appear on TV to promote her work and her albums have been released inconsistently since then. In 2016 she appeared on "Two Yoo Project Sugar Man Season 1" singing her official debut song. She also helped actresses Kim Ah Joong and Kim Eun Jung as vocal trainer and they developed a strong friendship. In 2020, she entered "Sing Again" and ended up in the Top-10 and that helped her career.
