- Also Known as: Jeong Yu Ji, Jeong Yoo Ji, Jung Yoo Ji, U.Ji, Jung UJi
- Nationality: South Korean

She made her debut in February 2012 as EXID's leader, main vocalist and lead dancer with the group's first single "Holla". However, two months later, AB Entertainment announced she was leaving the group to focus on her studies.
Around one year later, she signed a contract with YNB Entertainment (YNB엔터테인먼트) and she re-debuted (now using her birth name) in July 2013 as part BESTIE with their 1st single "Pitapat". The group was mildly successful at the beginning but later the agency began postponing their new releases and the members began focusing on individual appearances.
In 2014, she ventured into musicals making her debut with a role in "Full House" and obtaining prominent roles in other musicals such as "Notre Dame de Paris", "West Side Story", among others.
In February 2015, she debuted as a soloist with the digital single "Love Letter", using the stage name U.Ji.
BESTIE performed for the last time in the military's year end concert in 2016 and while no official announcement was ever made, it is implied the group disbanded around mid-2017 and she did not renew her contract with the agency.
She is currently represented by Big Boss Entertainment (빅보스엔터테인먼트) and began using her full name after she participated in "Sing Again 2".
