Before debuting, he was part of Eden Entertainment, where he trained for one year and a half and was part of the agency's new group, ALL(H)OURS. He also appeared on TV as a contestant in the singing survival show "My Teenage Boy: Fantasy Boys" but was not successful. Later, he was not chosen in the final lineup and left the agency.
He switched agencies and joined 6 other trainees in C9 Entertainment's (C9 엔터테인먼트) new group. They appeared in the drama "Dream Stage" co-produced by TBS and C9 and released 4 pre-debut singles that served as OSTs for the drama. He made his debut in May 2026 as the group's leader and vocalist with their first album, also titled "Naze".
