Oh Jung Yeon is a South Korean announcer, actor, TV host, and motorcycle racer. She graduated from Gwacheon High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Physical Education from Seoul National University, a master's degree in Theater and Film from Sogang University and two Advanced Programs in Policy from Korea University and in Sports Leadership from Seoul National University.

She made her debut in 2003 as a commercial model appearing in a soap ad for Dove. The following year, she became part of MBC as a reporter in the regional office in Cheongju, but she failed the announcer's test. In early 2005, she passed the test at KBS and joined the network as part of the 32nd open recruitment for announcers. She worked prolifically for eight years, hosting daily and weekly programs before deciding to become a freelancer in 2015.

In 2009, she met Seo Jang Hoon on a variety show and began dating. They got married in May 2009 at the W Hotel, but they divorced by mutual agreement in March 2012 due to differences in personality.

She made her acting debut in 2016 with a role in the drama "Working Mom Parenting Daddy". She ventured into stage plays in 2019 with a role in "Moonlight on the Rooftop". She is represented by KX Entertainment (KX엔터테인먼트).
