After graduating from college, Chang Yu Le first worked as a cinematographer for a while and realized that he was not suited to the job. He proactively turned to scriptwriting. His script for the feature film Shadow Under the Bed was nominated for Excellent Screenplay Award in 2015, and his script for TV series 《十日好孕》 was selected into 2020 Drama Incubation Program of Public Television Service. His first short film script and directorial work Shadow Under the Bed was shown at the Kaohsiung Film Festival in 2022.
