Uemura Tomoya, known simply as Tomoya, is a Japanese singer, dancer and member of NEXZ (ネクスジ / 넥스지). Before debuting, he spent 2 years and 7 months as a trainee.

He participated in the audition program "Nizi Project Season 2" and he finished in 1st place and was selected to be part of the project group.

He made his debut in May 2024 as NEXZ's leader with their first single album, "Ride the Vibe". The group is managed by JYP Entertainment (JYP엔터테인먼트) marking the first time in 6 years that the agency debuts a boy group.
