Yanagi Asuna is a Japanese actress born in Kumamoto Prefecture. When she was a first-year student at Kumamoto Prefectural Tamana High School, she joined a drama club that was on the verge of being abolished. However, she became absorbed in creating something new, regardless of whether she succeeded or not. Her script, Blue Sky (碧空), on which she worked hard with her friends, won the best work award. Currently, she is enrolled in the Kumamoto Prefectural Yushinkan High School correspondence course.
On June 14, 2020, Yanagi won the Grand Prix at the Bishoujo Zukan Kyushu Tournament. There, she mentioned that dancing is also her special skill.
In April 2023, her first feature film, "Techno Brothers," was screened at the Udine Far East Film Festival.
In 2024, her directorial debut, "Rainy Blue", will be released.
