Kim Bok Jun is a South Korean retired police officer turned criminologist and YouTuber. He obtained a bachelor's and master's degrees and a Ph.D. all in Law and all from Konkuk University. He is also a Research Fellow at Korea Institute of Criminology and an adjunct professor at the Central Police Academy. He joined the police force in 1982 and was first assigned as a police officer at Uijeongbu Police Station. He later worked as a homicide detective and later served as the Head of the Investigation Department at the Dongducheon Police Station and was honorably retired as a police officer in October 2013. He runs a successful YouTube channel called Kim Bok Jun's Case Request (김복준의 사건의뢰) since 2018.
