After graduating from Yoyogi Animation Academy Nagoya School Acting Institute, he officially made his anime debut in 1996 with the TV anime "Bakuso Brothers Let's & Go!!."

He received the Famitsu Award 2010 "Male Character Voice Award" on April 22, 2011. In 2012, he won the 6th Voice Actor Award "Overseas Fan Award." On January 4, 2017, he won the 26th Anime Grand Prix Best Male Voice Actor Award for the second time in "Nonko and Nobita's Anime Scramble." Edit Biography
