Yang Zi is a Chinese screenwriter and director. He went to the United States to study at the age of 16. After graduating from university, he returned to China and was admitted to the Performance School of Beijing Film Academy in 2004.
In 2006, he was recommended to study film studies at the University of Edinburgh in the UK. In 2023, he was hired as an industry mentor at the Jackie Chan Film and Television School of Media.
