Mayumi Yamabuki was a Japanese actress born in Tokyo, Japan. Her real name was Okawa Mitsuyo (大川光代).

She graduated from Osaka Jogakuin High School and Takarazuka Music School. She was a former member of the Takarazuka Revue and belonged to Japan Pro.

She moved to Beijing with her family at the age of 4. After returning from mainland China after the war, she settled in Osaka and enrolled in the Takarazuka Music School after graduating from high school.

In 1960, she joined the Takarazuka Revue as a member of the 46th class. Her stage debut was in "Viva Pinocchio" in 1960. On May 1, 1961, she was assigned to the Hana Troupe, then transferred to the Tsuki Troupe, and later returned to the Hana Troupe. She remained with Takarazuka until December 30, 1964. After leaving Takarazuka, she continued her career in television dramas and theater.

She passed away on June 30, 2000, due to pneumonia at the age of 60.
