She graduated from Nara Women's Higher Normal School.
In April 1939, she joined the Art Little Theater and remained until February 1942. Her debut stage role was as a nurse in "People in White." In April 1947, she joined the Budo no Kai. In January 1960, she left both Budo no Kai and the Art Little Theater. She co-founded the theater company Zokei. As of 1962, she was also affiliated with the Suzuki Office. Later, she was affiliated with NAC.
