Liu Jing is a Chinese writer from Yantai, Shandong, China. She used the pen name "Liu Zheng". She graduated from the Literature Department of the People's Liberation Army Art Institute in 1993. She was drafted into the army in 1979.

She started publishing works in 1985. In 1997, she joined the Chinese Writers Association.
