As Kansai kabuki faced a downturn, he shifted to the Takarazuka Shinkigeki theater in 1954, immersing himself in the world of popular theater.
In 1958, he explored new horizons by joining the Takarazuka film industry, only to later resume his career on the kabuki stage.
