Ando Mitsuo was a Japanese actor born in Tokyo, Japan. He began his career with the Bungakuza theater troupe in 1947 at the age of 18, remaining until 1953. He made his film debut in 1958 with Toei in "Jigoku no Gozen Niji" and continued into the 1960s, appearing in gangster films and action movies produced by Toei Tokyo and New Toei.

His exact date of death remains unclear, with sources suggesting he was alive as late as 1987, but likely passed away by September 1992. Ando was associated with organizations such as Jukkai-kai, NAC, and Tokyo Actor's Cooperative.
