Before debuting, he moved to South Korea at the age of 15 to become a trainee and spent nearly 2 years at Starship Entertainment. He participated in JTBC's "Project 7" but could not earn a spot in the resulting project group as he finished in 19th place.
However, in January 2025, Mystic Story (미스틱스토리) announced he will become part of ARrC starting with their next comeback scheduled for later in the year. The group debuted in August 2024 but former member Kim Ji U decided to leave due to personal reasons so, he was brought in to replace him.
