In September 2021, he was announced as a pre-debut member of BLACK LEVEL and was set to debut with the group under the stage name Chanha. However, by December, he informed the agency VT Entertainment (브이티엔터테인먼트) that he was leaving the group due to health reasons.
After joining WEUS Entertainment (위어스 엔터테인먼트), he made his debut in April 2023 as WEUS's rapper with their first single album, "Purple Sky". But, in June 2023, he decided to leave the group after 3 months due to personal reasons.
He joined Black Bear Records (블랙베어레코드) soon after and, in December 2023, was announced as the newest member of the upcoming group DAYCHILD (using the stage name Roy). They were set to debut in February 2024 but, once again, he left the group due to personal reasons without debuting with them.
He re-debuted in September 2024 as L5ST's lead vocalist with their first single album, "Only One". They are managed by Macaroni Media.
