Heo Young Joo is a South Korean singer, dancer, stage actress, and former member of THE SEEYA (더 씨야). She graduated from Daejin Girls' High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Acting from Sungkyunkwan University.

In 2012, MBK Entertainment (MBK엔터테인먼트; formerly known as Core Contents Media) decided to re-launch a girl group that was active between 2006 and 2011 called SEEYA. She made her debut in November of that year as THE SEEYA's leader and main rapper with their first single album, "Good To Seeya".

In 2010, she made her debut as a theater actress with a role in the musical "Like Rain Like Music". Then, in November 2012, she re-debuted as THE SEEYA's leader and vocalist with their first single album, "Good To Seeya". However, after a few more single albums, the group ended up disbanding in 2015.

She then became a stage actress and now works as a professor at Dong Seoul University and a YouTuber/TikToker. She is represented by 12Entertainment (원투엔터테인먼트), a U.S.-based company that only specializes in providing support instead of actively managing their associates.
