Huang Wei is a Chinese actor from Dapu, Meizhou, Guangdong, China. He studied at the Shanghai Theatre Academy and was mentored by Hong Kong action director Chen Zhong Tai, a sixth-generation successor of Cailifu. He is also the godson of Hong Kong director Yan Guang Xing.
