Lu Jian Yi was a Chinese voice actor, dubbing director, actor, and stage actor born in Changchun, Jilin, China. He graduated from the Drama Department of Jilin Art Institute (吉林艺术学院). In 1985, he joined Changchun Film Studio (长春电影制片厂) as a voice actor after transferring from the Jilin City Drama Troupe, and later worked there as a dubbing director.

He died of illness on December 15, 2019, at the age of 62.
