He made his debut in 2019 with his first mini-album and later was invited to join as the vocalist of rock band 27ELEPHANT. He uses the stage name STAY when he performs with the band and his real name when performing as a soloist.

In 2023, he participated in the singing survival show "The Age of Oppa" where he ended up as the winner.
