She was set to debut in August 2017 as part of ELADO (엘라도) and even released the pre-debut digital single "Do It". However, AO Entertainment (AO 엔터테인먼트) opted to cancel their debut without ever providing an official reason. Only she decided to remain in the company and continued her training.
She made her debut in January 2023 as part of the duo PRIMROSE with their first mini-album, "Red Moon". However, in March of that year, AO Entertainment announced that member Jeong Myeong Woo (known professionally as Yeum) had to leave due to personal reasons. As she was the only member left, the agency began auditions to add more members, ultimately selecting 3 new members and re-launching the group in June 2024.
