She signed with AO Entertainment (AO 엔터테인먼트) and made her debut in August 2023 when she joined PRIMROSE as their new vocalist and maknae with their second mini-album, "Laffy Taffy". The group debuted in January as a duo, but original member Jeong Myeong Woo (known professionally as Yeum) had to leave in March due to personal reasons. The agency decided to expand the group, and she was selected after several auditions.
